Every fall millions come together to celebrate the Divine Mother Durga in Her various forms.
This year's Durga Puja also known as Dashain or Navaratri (Nine Nights of the Divine Mother) begins on October 10 and ends on October 20, 2018.
Join us at Laura's Shakti Temple in Venice Beach or Live from Zoom for 3 Pujas & an introductory Teaching on Goddess Durga in Her forms of Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, Mahasaraswati
These pujas and teachings will follow the traditional worship of the Divine Mother that has been performed and celebrated for thousands of years in South Asia.
On each of these evenings, there will be a
satsang on Durga's myth and a form of the Divine Mother.
We will reflect on how the different forms of Goddess and the chapters of this 5th century myth relate to the first, second and third three days of the Nine Night Festival as well to our own personal and spiritual development.
Laura will perform 3 Pujas from her Shri Vidya lineage to help us sync our energies with the different powers of Maa & to help restore balance, peace & harmony to all the worlds.
